The Politics of Friendship in the Post-Christian West

 

Abstract:

<span font-size:17.5px;background-color:#dfeef7;"="" style="box-sizing: border-box;">The “post-Christian” West holds the weakness of Christian “caritas” at its cultural core. Beyond the age of metaphysics and in a global culture, we may learn afresh the negotiations and power of friendship – a politics of openness to the other as a positive response to a world in which there are no facts but only interpretations.
